Note. When measuring resistances in range (10-4-10-3)Ohm ; (10-3-10-2) Ohm external current power supply should be 3A. Significance of back comparison initial resistance should be considered.
   Basic error:
1) When using device R4833 as bridge, the acceptable basic error limit (Δ) in Ohm corresponds to value defined by formulas:
    ∆ = ±10-2 · С · (10-1Rn + X)(1)
   or
    ∆= ±10-2 ·С · X, (2)
where C - accuracy class value, specified for given range (Table 1); Rn - normalizing resistance value for given measurement range, Ohm (Table 1); X - reading, measured from decades switches limbs, Ohm.
     Acceptable basic error limit corresponds to values specified in Table 1, under normal using conditions:
ambient temperature (20 ± 5) ° C; relative humidity of 25 to 80%; atmosphere pressure (84 - 106.7) kPa [(630-800) mm Hg];
working position - horizontal;
2) When using device R-4833 as potentiometer for emf and voltage acceptable basic error limit measurements (ΔU) in V corresponds to values defined by formula:
∆U= ±5 · 10-4 · (Un/10 + U),(3)
where Un - normalizing value ,V (Un = 0.1 V);
U- potentiometer reading, V, under normal using conditions:
ambient temperature (20 ± 2) ° C;
relative humidity of 25 to 80%;
atmosphere pressure (84-106.7) kPa [(630-800) mm Hg];
working position - horizontal;
no external magnetic field, except the earth one.
     When using device R4833 as potentiometer it must meet requirements of  basic error (instability) limits in accordance with accuracy class during one year from the date of first certification (calibration) under normal conditions (above) and under normal conditions of use, transportation and storage.
3) Acceptable deviation limit of actual resistance value (δ) in percentage from nominal when using device as resistance box corresponds to value defined by formula:
    δ = ± [0.02+1.5 • 10-4 (Rk/R-1)], (4)
where  Rk - maximum resistance value, Ohm (Rk = 1111.10 Ohm); R-nominal resistance value, Ohm.
Actual resistance value deviation from nominal in primary calibration (at manufacturer release) and acceptable resistance change δ in percentage per year (instability) does not exceed value determined by formula (4) under normal using conditions:
ambient temperature (20 ± 2) ° C;
relative humidity of 25 to 80%;
atmosphere pressure (84-106.7) kPa [(630-800) mm Hg.];
working position - any;
steady-state thermal equilibrium and power dissipation are not above nominal.
Acceptable basic error of backs resistances ratio is not more than  ± 0.025% (except the level with nominal value 0.09864 Ohm, for which acceptable error is not more than ± 0.25%) in normal using conditions (above).
Acceptable basic error of resistors box 2.5 and 7.5 Ohm is not more than ± 0.1%.
Built-in R4833 multimeter device regulated voltage source IPH ("mV") at voltage supply at least 1.3 V and load resistance not less than 25 Ohm provided at clamps

Maximum power dissipation by one decade  is not more than: 0.005 Watt for 0.01 Ohm, 0.05 Watt for 0.1 Ohm, 0.1 Watt for 1 Ohm and higher.
 
Additional error.
When using device R4833 as bridge additional error limit in working temperature ranges does not exceed maximum acceptable basic error when ambient temperature changes for every 10 ° C.
When using device as potentiometer changes in readings, shown in percentage from  basic error does not exceed 100% when ambient temperature changes for every 10 ° C in range of working temperatures.
Note. Additional error caused by operating current installation is  not specified, because it is in basic error.
When using device as resistance box additional error limit in working temperature range of 15 to 25 ° C, caused by changes in ambient temperature (environment) between upper (lower) limit of normal temperature conditions range 22 ° C (18 ° C) and some point in related working conditions temperature range 25 ° C (15 ° C), corresponds to the largest change in resistance Rmax, within working temperature from 10 to 15 ° C and 25 ° to 35 ° C for every 5 ° C of temperature change  do not exceed value determined by  formula (4).
When using device R-4833 as resistance box additional error limit as a percentage of its nominal value when power dissipation change from normal to any value do not exceed maximum power under normal using conditions and steady-state thermal equilibrium do not exceed value determined by the formula (4).
   
Power supply.
When used as a bridge - from built-in galvanic elements with voltage at least 1.5 mV (with four clamping connection of measured resistance from 10-4 to 102 Ohm), with voltage not less than 7.0 V (with two clamping connection of measured resistances from 102 to 106  of permissible DC pulsation, power supplies from 0 to 0.1%, maximum power consumed do not exceed 3A and 0.05 A; from external power supply according to table 1; from AC voltage (220 ± 22)V, frequency (50 ± 0.5) or (60 ± 0.6) Hz, sinusoidal waveform, the higher harmonics coefficient is not more than 5%.
When used as potentiometer - from built-in and external sources of DC voltage from 1.20 V to 1.65 V.
Power IPH ("mV") - from built-in and external dc sources with voltage from 1.20 to 1.65 V.
     Power IPH ("V") - from built-in and external dc sources with voltage from 4.8 to 6.6 V. Acceptable dc pulsation source from 0 to 0.7%, maximum power consumption is not more than 0.025 A.
Power consumed by device bridge R-4833 does not exceed 10VA.
