Measurement range of the instrument measuring dose IMD-1 is:
- For the IPD-1A - 0.01 R / h to 999R / h;
- For IPD and IPD-1R-1C - 0.01 mR / h to 999R / h;
which is divided into two sub-bands:
- «MR / h» with outside dimensions of 0.01 mR / h to 999mR / h;
- «R / h» with outside dimensions of 0.01 R / h to 999R / h;
The basic error of the meter relative to the measured value does not exceed ± 25%, plus or minus one junior level when measured in the sub-bands of 0.1 mR / h to 999mR / h and 0.1 R / h to 999R / h;
Note. Subranges from 0.01 mR / hr to 0.1 mR / hr and 0.01 R / hr to 0.1 R / h is an indicator and the main error in these sub-bands the instrument measuring dose IMD-1 is not standardized;
Meter IPD-1 provides the audio alarm when the exposure dose rate 0.1 mR / h and 300mR / h on sub-band «mR / h» and 0.1 R / h and 300R / h - on sub-band «R / h»;

Feeding the meter is carried out:
- IPD-1A, IPD-1R - from four cells in series A-343 "Prima" with a nominal voltage of 6 V and on-board DC power or rechargeable batteries with a voltage of 10.8 V to 30 V;
- IPD-1 C - from four cells in series A-343 "Prima" with a nominal voltage of 6 V, on-board DC power or rechargeable batteries with a voltage of 10.8 V to 30V AC to 220V ± 22V with frequency 50 Hz or 400 Hz;
