EF microfarad measurer is designed specifically for the assessment of the capacitors and belongs to the instruments of the electrodynamic system.
Microfarad measurers EF represent electrodynamic ratiometer. The stationary coil is connected in series with the capacitor. Two movable coils mounted on the instrument axis. Consistent with the first coil included exemplary capacitor. The second coil is shorted to the secondary winding of the current transformer primary circuit which passes current measured capacitor.
The current in the secondary winding of the transformer and the second movable coil of microfarad measurer or proportional to the current of the primary circuit.
